Here’s my story…

My name is Suzanne Buchanan. One day I said to myself, "I love guiding and I love Maine." It was then that I realized that I needed to take my passion for tour guiding, storytelling, and exploring new places and share it with others. So after 16 years as a National Park Service Ranger, I decided to pursue all that life could offer. Today I’m a Registered Maine Guide and the proud owner/operator of my own guide company -- Gentle Adventures. At the core of my business is the firm belief that everyone including you -- needs to take the time to learn new skills, explore new places and enjoy it at your own pace. So come and join me. I’ll make the plans -- you’ll take home unforgettable memories of your Gentle Adventure….
